Today, I felt like crying.

that's the only thing i wanted to blog about. Feeling rather down today. all i wish for now is your companionship BUT. you're occupied. so its alright.

I'm afraid of the future honestly speaking. Everything seems to pass so quickly. soon I'll be graduating and moving on to working life. sis texted me to lemme know she's leaving on the 18th of June. ): which furter added to the already gloomy day of mine.

this feeling is DEFINITELY due to haha spending too much alone time in the room and not studying. blame my awesome study lifespan of 20 minutes.

Islamic Banking midterm tomorrow and I haven't studied much. anxious breakdown. but its just a midterm. don't know why i'm stressed out. bleh.

been addicted to this song lately. heart the meaning behind it.

one helluva crazy valentine's

how did you spend valentine's day?

candle light dinner?

receiving a bunch of roses?

when I was younger, valentine's day seems to be something special and requires special preparations. but. as I grow older, valentine's day is just another day. Its been two years, two months and two weeks, my boyfriend, Leslie and I got together. the first two years we decided to just let it be although it occasionally became a 'tantrum-to-throw' topic on my side. HEH. also because to him, valentine's day is just another day. takkan you only love your partner more on valentine's day right??

so this year. valentine's day took a twist.

since its public holiday the next day, boyf decided to come to Kampar, to do the noble job of spending some precious time with his beloved princess - me. *shy. :P

yeap. this came together with him. (:*

it's rather unusual of him to be doing this as I'd complain. gifts on v'days are expensive!! oh well. he still know best that I would rather the money spent on food than gifts. LOL

it's our 1st valentine's together, and two gifts. :D

I however, on the other hand, didn't prepare anything. :( [read on lahhh..]

instead of an expensive meal over candle dim lights, we had ours by the walkway under the street lamp.

there were some issues that came up on my graduation trip and boyf stayed to help us solve it. he was suppose to leave after dinner due to next day's a working day. BUT. it took 2 hours to solve the bookings etc etc. it past midnight already and its not nice of me to let him drive back alone.

since my class is late afternoon the next day, I, volunteer to follow him back to pj then back to kampar alone next morning. LOL. how noble you must be thinking. BUT i dont do these often. must do something in return maaaaah. HEHE.

minus the rush, everything was awesome.

2010 has been a good year. with not a quite balanced ups and down. but still. I'm satisfied. how was yours?

we're suppose to look into the future and leave our past behind. however, a lil reminiscing about the year is quite worth it.

Sunflowers always makes me happy.

housemates. we've gotten closer already and lovin it.

2010 has alot of fun times. why? I went to two hills within the same month!. twice to cameron and genting, once. went up to Penang twice and once to Johor. I also did things i never thought i'll do. for real!. LOL. there was alot of 1st times too. and i'm glad i'm growing up. but a lil too fast? haha.

lastly, he is still the loved one. (:

as for 2011. I don't anticipate much. because I've already gotten a preview before. just this time. it's gonna be even longer and harder.

note: this is a RANT post.

I have a paper on Friday. and Saturday. and the following Wednesday. but now. I'm ~~blogging~~ ranting. HELL YEAH. wtf. ahah. This is one of my pre-examination gan jeong-ness. It's gonna be the same phrase over and OVER again. I studied but it is as though I did not. fine fine it wasn't really studying thou. it was more of read, and read. hopefully something goes inside. && the worst thing is.

I HAVE A FRIGGHIN TWENTY MINUTES CONCENTRATION SPAN. wtf.

and this has to stop now. in order to do so. I must now think positively. I can do well for my examinations. yeah. I just have to be more confident. but not over confident.

this has definitely got something to do with my coursework marks which was below what I thought I'll get. oh well. probably I didn't meet the requirement. :/ but the marks did affect my motivation to study although it should work the other way no? LOL.

sometimes. I wish I'm blardy smart. like those who don't study yet still can score.

headed to Balls and All the other day with the boyfriend to try out the new meatballs, Tofu ball and Dessie. unfortunately, they ran out of Tofu ball the other day when I was there.

I had one of the nicest way to end the month of November with Photo-shooting, Moral Campaign, and Pre-end of semester dinner with good friends, not forgetting. the boyfriend who came all the way from PJ to Kampar for our 2nd year anniversary. *loves

It was after one helluva crazy never before seen only in UTAR, Pengajian Moral midterm test that we headed to Ipoh. :D

Hung out in Jusco Ipoh as the main purpose of heading to Ipoh is to get graduation photo's outfit. which photos will be revealed in the next post!. mad love. hehe.

as usual. it's been some time since we hung out and it was fun. omg. laugh die me. it was jokes all the way there and all the way back. ~~banana your papaya, oldtown ni de ayamas~~. LOL!!

During semester break a month ago, ze boyf suggested to head to Fat Spoon Cafe located in Damansara Utama for lunch. Apparently it's a business started by boyf's sister's friend. in other words, high school senior.

It is a one of its kind cafe with its tagline 'Grandma Recipes + Good Coffee', with a dash of vintage atmosphere and decoration, bliss and memories.

Few days ago, Monday to be exact, Winnee asked if I want to go for Ah Yong's restaurant thingy i dont know what it is called exactly. but yeah. it's part of his practical throughout his studies in KTAR. so yea. We went together with Chia Hui and Xi Shun.

We kinda got lost while looking for the restaurant. LOL. And it was our 1st time attending such event.

it taste soo much like mushroom soup. pizza hut style.

you can barely taste the existence of dragon fruit.

somewhat. took us sometime to figure out.

it taste quite like Otak-Otak. LOL

6. Caesar Salad

they went a lil overboard with the croutons.

it was too burnt that the taste actually spoil the salad. it tasted bitter. :/ and. ahah. too much cheese.

too much cheese + mayo = too much saltiness.

7. Baked chicken Maryland with rice pilaf,saute auburgine,broccoli and cauliflower

The sauce and rice was okay. but. not the chicken maryland. sorry.

but I was filled to nicely enjoy it.

The other day Stephanie msn to ask if I was interested to attend a food review on Balls and All. At first I was like. WHATTT?? it sounded kinda wrong lah okay. balls. ROFL.

after she explained what Balls and All is about, without hesitation I said yes. Ask my housemates to accompany me.

Balls and All is NEW in Kampar. Its an Italian fast snack. You must be thinking.

Italian + snack = ?? errrr.. weird?

it's traditional Italian food rolled into a ball shape, so that it can be served quickly and it's easy to carry around as a snack or a quick meal. how convenient!.

in other words, it's MEATBALLS. delicious tender juicy meat balls. every single meatball served is hand rolled. topped with sauce of your choice. yumms. oh did i mention? they uses “Italia recipes” to ensure the true italian taste in every single bite.

yeap. it is. even the weather knows i'm emo-ing and decided to have the rain to accompany me. how thoughtful.

the same thing happened again as though it's deja vu spilling it out.

i started tearing the night before and again before leaving home. this time i can't blame examination stress because it's not examination time yet.

there're times when i was young, i wished to be away from home. and now 'wish come true', i don't wanna be away from home. ironic eih?

i'm afraid of changes but heck that's life. however, it seems like i'm plunging backwards instead of moving forward.

oh well. another half a year to go and i'm pretty sure i can do it.

anyhow, i'm glad for a supportive boyf and friends, you know who you are. <3

it's been an awesome week back home. now i miss home terribly. ): although i stayed home everyday. still. i miss home. cuz i was never alone those days. woke up with bfast on the table, and a brother to disturb who would accompany me for lunch everyday. the noises around makes me feel warm and not alone.

at first i regret going back cuz i will not be able to study at home. BUT i did. however, the progress was VERY VERY VERY SLOW. =.= well at least somewhat did kan?

now that i'm back at the desert or Kampar, i feel lost. it's so quiet here. because i don't live with my friends (long story) and my house mates aren't back yet.

i thought i would've gotten used to the leaving home thing already. it's been 2 years plus. but apparently. i don't know why. it became more intense. probably due to examinations coming up. i haven't been preparing very well. obviously not a good sign. been slacking in the comfort of home. but glad i came back a day earlier. emotional breakdown a day before examinations is not good. fyi: 1st paper starts on Monday.

anxiety, fear, nervous, stress + compiled tears + home sick = emotional breakdown

there's alot of things i regretted. and also alot of things i'm glad i did it.

well that's life right. what's life without ups and downs?

i'm pretty much still in the comfort of home sweet home. ): home sick. rawr. had an awesome weekend back home and am still buried under my lil comfort zone refusing to resurface back to reality. it's been 2 months since i last went home and it's been a blissful weekend. (:

hagging out with my family, the boyf and his family (note: on separate occasion) was niceeeee. i had just way too much of fun over the past two weekends and now.

just finish editing the assignment. phew~.

yesterday while playing pool, met Letter over at the snooker center. as i was walking towards the other pool table, he went 'mao mao~' just the tone that i missed. he came up with that tone and it gives me shivers down the spine every time he calls me that. description of the tone? uhhh. hahaha. i have no idea how to put em in words. you'll have to find out yourself. haha.

fyi: maomao is my nickname and i DOWANA tell you it's origin. :P

the 6 of us on a 40 hours no sleep marathon. LOL.

we got kinda closed after that and then after sometime. we all grew apart. yet we still see each other. over drinking sessions sometimes. HAHA.

it's alright to take a break

wednesday morning. most of our classes starts in the afternoon or late morning. and with Ronald and his girlfriend, Suk Wein's visit, dimsum breakfast is sorta like a must. (: thus the famous Foh San Restaurant in Ipoh.

it's been a while since we all meet up thou. it even applies to us in kampar. different courses, busy schedule, final year samore. we seldom meet up except for birthday dinners.

AANYWAYYYY back to the topic. BREAKFAST!. yummy!!

block stacking

a very simple game of blocks of 3 stacked in opposite direction. all you have to do is to remove one block at a time and stack it on the top. the one who pulls the last block before the tower falls is the loser.

sounds simple eh? the trick is not to let the tower fall. so aim for the loose blocks as it's easier to be removed. risk adverse (finance jargon). there's always times when there's no other blocks to remove and you can't diversify risk (finance jargon again) then there's no choice but to take up the risk.

i've got to start thinking like a finance person. if not i'll prolly ph-ail my finance papers. which i do not want to.

been feeling like a hypocrite lately. i dont know why. prolly due to all the happenings around. i can condemn others on their behavior yet sometimes i act the same. why ah?

it's week one. so there's definitely time for break. (: thus we headed to Ipoh for movie. initially was suppose to go for Happy Go Lucky. but someone got the timing wrong so switched to Shrek Forever After.

it's a goooooood one. i like!. (:

day two of uni was. haha. okay laah. gotta get used to attending classes. at least that keeps me occupy. but my timetable ain't that pretty. i have the 3 hours gap on monday, 2 hours lecture class ONLY on tues and wed and friday, 3 tutorial class with 30 minutes and 90 minutes break in between. okay laa. at least friday's class ends early.

okay that's not this post is supposed to be about.

since it's semester break, i thought i should contribute this very day to the temple as they needed help. and i haven't been an active member since step down and moving to kampar.

was placed under the stage crew. or at least thats what i think i should call it. i'm only useful when there's something going on on the stage. ie: opening ceremony, prize giving etc. other time i spend saying hello to people and taking photos.

what else to jump start a new semester. class cancellation. major turnoff. i was pretty excited to be seeing my uni-mates again until..

WOOT. 1st day of the semester class cancel. obviously it's unbelievable right? i even thought it was some prank. but yea it's true class cancelled

as usual it's the beginning of semester when all the cars can be drove into the university's compound. there were like 367845390482745 cars around i'm exaggerating laah. and there wasn't enough parking space because lazy people refuse to park further. haha. keeding. the parking spaces in uni are very very limited. and there's always the case of smart people simply park their car, blocking the traffic. kudos to them.

did i mention? I'M A YEAR THREE STUDENT!. saja wanna bold it. which means it's my final year already. joy or sorrow. i dont know exactly. heh. looking forward to a better results.

was texting Tiang to see if he's free to go yumcha since i was bored and he's on holiday. a very very random one.
i texted him and he replied 'who's number is this?' stunned kejap. decade friend dont have my number. EMO maxx. haha!. kidding laah. i dont know what to reply. i have so many names. so my reply was 'Winnie laa.. uhm. Yinli. uhm bear. whoaa i have so many names.'

the reason why i stunned kejap cuz i have so many names i'm not too sure which name he's more familiar with.

decade friends: Winnie, Yinli, bear.
high school friends: Yinli
uni friends: Winnie or some uses Yinli. the closer ones uses MaoMao. dont get me started with why that name.
since my bestf's name is also Winnee, in class I'm small Winnie. pasal i younger. :P. the drinking people uses 'Ah Chew', to differentiate.

it was an unintentional conincident filled 'meet the in-laws' the way Leslie put it.

what happened was, after bfast with daddy and bro, initial plan was to head to Giant for some groceries shopping.
there was some warehouse sale going on on the 2nd floor so thought go check it out. was strolling cuz nothing caught my attention until i looked up and saw this really familiar uncle. *snap!. Leslie's father. OOPS. shy much!.

introduced to daddy laaa abothen. he was right next to me takkan ignore him merh?? then Leslie's mom came around then they chatted awhile. it was a weeee bitt awkward. cuz mr sleepyhead decided to stay in bed longer. bleah.

i. successfully handled. a so called 'meet the in-laws' session. alone. WOOT. hahahaaa. never expected them to meet so soon thou. mom wasn't there so it's not really counted but. ANYHOW. it's sorta like a breakthru for me. cuz i'm SHY. :X

just finish watching avatar with the family. uhmm. it was OKAY laaaaa.

suppose to be in Pavillion now with boyf and his friends but it's the only day since i've been back that everyone's home. so yea i stayed home.

I've been living around mountains and lakes, the nearest cinema is approximately 45 minutes drive away if you take the coastal way OR about 15 minutes if you don't mind pay extra RM3.10 and take the highway.

it used to be a trip there as frequent as once every two weeks or at least once a month. *i think. but this semester. all of us were soooo busy. we only managed to catch 'The Book of Eli' and 'Clash of the Titans', in Ipoh and Penang.

SOOOO. now that i'm back. manage to catch 'Ice Kacang Puppy Love' with boyf yesterday at Tropicana City Mall. it was still on the screens surprisingly when both of us thought it's off long ago. hee. it was Movie Date.

pretty sure most of you heard about it or already watched it.

it's considered very much well done!. fully all local made. BUATAN MALAYSIA. hahaa. thumbsup!

my mom is still studying. (: speaking of lifelong learning. mom decided to take up the weekend-course to improve herself and get something nearer to a degree. (you know laaaa last time financial problem so didnt continue studying after form 6) maaaa. you went to form 6 kan?

after this morning's paper, somehow i realize something.
my mom's studying, is a good thing. somehow that got us closer. ~~and i became even much more manja.~~
i was having some issues with my group and mom called and i blabbed everything and ended up tearing.
normally after one paper, mommy'll call. ask how did i do for that paper. and i always give standard answer. liddat lorh. hahaa. damn standard. even if i did not too well i'll still say liddat lorh.

but today's paper.
Managerial Accounting. which we even argue the title. mom insist it's management accounting. HAHA.
ookay back to the story. I did ALL the tutorial questions and revised like a millionth times thinking that i'm gonna at least end up with an A-minus. (speaking of aiming high).
i felt super devastated can. the paper doesn't look hard, i remembered my formulas and formats.
